If you’re hiring, check out my resume.
I am a student at TMCC in Reno NV majoring in Computer Science.
It all started when A teacher of mine in high school wanted to start a robotics club. He said that someone on the team would have to learn c++ to be able to program the bot, so I volunteered and went down to the book store and got the thickest book on c++ I could find. I wasn’t able to master the language at the time and the robotics club never got off and running but I found that I loved to program in the process.
After that I scaled back to Javascript and found it a lot more forgiving. I quickly mastered the language and moved on to PHP and then C and then Objective C, as well as a few languages in between that I don’t really use (Applescript how useless you are).
When I was still in high school I had this part time job at a mining company doing office work. They found out I could program and asked me to make them a little script to process data. When my little script replaced hours of work that they had to do, I was promptly given a raise and offered a full time job (I had to turn it down). The company eventually went south and laid off most of it’s employees including me. After searching for a job to match that which i had lost, and finding that no one hire me to program without a degree, I decided to start my own web design business called Ultimate Reno Web Design.
I have now joined the ranks of the iPhone App developers by publishing Bubble Burster to the App Store.
